In line with our mission to minimize environmental impact while enhancing guest experiences, Novotel Nha Trang has implemented a series of green initiatives guided by the international standards of the Green Key eco-label. These efforts are designed to promote mindful living and inspire a deeper connection to the environment and community.
1. Our team regularly participates in training programs and field activities to deepen their understanding of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Hotel management actively encourages practical green initiatives that can be applied across daily operations. Educational materials highlighting actions such as water conservation, mindful food consumption, and waste reduction are prominently displayed in staff areas and the canteen to cultivate eco-conscious habits in the workplace.
2. To reduce single-use plastic waste, the hotel has replaced plastic bottled water with reusable glass bottles, and single-use bath amenities with larger refillable dispensers.
3. Room keys have also been upgraded from plastic to eco-friendly wooden cards—small changes that carry a big message.
4. At The Square restaurant, à la carte dishes are prepared using clean, sustainable ingredients. We prioritize the use of humane eggs sourced from free-range farms, where chickens are raised cage-free in natural conditions. Waste is carefully sorted to support efficient recycling and responsible disposal.
5. Informational signage is placed in both the restaurant and staff canteen to encourage mindful portioning and reduce food waste—helping guests and employees alike to respect and protect precious natural resources.
6. To further reduce emissions and protect Nha Trang’s coastal beauty, we encourage our guests to opt for public transportation or eco-friendly electric taxis such as Xanh SM when traveling within the city.
7. Beyond internal operations, Novotel Nha Trang actively participates in local tree planting and mangrove reforestation programs. Mangrove forests serve as the “green lungs” of the marine ecosystem, providing vital protection against climate change and supporting biodiversity.
